Wanna make music like Daft Punk, but lack the drum machines and robot costumes? Well, you’re in luck, because thanks to developer Malik Dellidj the DaftPunKonsole will let you do everything from your computer keyboard.
Dellidj built the program using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and magic to create a simple and effective way to spend an entire morning. You simply select the type of keyboard you use and plug away. You can start and stop the instrumental backing track at any point, shift the pitch of the vocal samples and organize them in any way you please. It’s a great way to either try to replicate the original or create your own twist.
You can rearrange the words to your own preferences, or just have fun pressing buttons to make robot noises. Either one leads to a good time.
